FIND THE SOURCE BEFORE OPENING THE PROPERTY

Clear answers for leaks you cannot see

Hidden leaks can appear as higher water bills, damp flooring, musty odors, reduced pressure, or water movement where no fixture is running. Because the same symptom can have several causes, testing should focus on the affected plumbing system instead of relying on guesswork.

Florida Plumbing and Leak Detection Services uses appropriate diagnostic methods for the situation, including acoustic listening, thermal imaging, pressure testing, and sewer camera inspection when applicable. Findings are explained before repair options are discussed.

LEAK DETECTION QUESTIONS

What to know before testing begins

Tell us the symptoms, the property type, and where you first noticed the problem.

What types of leaks can you investigate?

The company provides detection for hidden water leaks, slab leaks, sewer-line leaks, pool and irrigation leaks, and suspected gas-line leaks for residential and commercial properties.

Is leak detection non-invasive?

Many diagnostic methods can narrow the source without immediately opening walls, floors, or landscaping. No method eliminates all access in every case, but the goal is to minimize unnecessary disruption.

What are common signs of a slab leak?

Possible signs include warm or damp flooring, the sound of water when fixtures are off, reduced pressure, unexplained water use, cracks or moisture near the slab, and recurring indoor humidity. Testing is needed to confirm the source.

Can a sewer camera find every sewer leak?

A camera can show visible conditions inside an accessible line, including breaks, offsets, roots, or deterioration. Some problems require additional testing, and the appropriate method depends on access and the symptoms.

Do you check pool and irrigation plumbing?

Yes. Call with details about water loss, refill frequency, wet areas, or pressure changes so the team can confirm the appropriate pool or irrigation leak-detection scope.

What should I do if I suspect an active gas leak?

Leave the area immediately without operating switches or creating a spark. From a safe location, call 911 and the gas utility. Plumbing leak detection or repair should be scheduled only after the immediate emergency has been addressed.

Can the leak be repaired after it is located?

Repair options depend on the leak location, access, system condition, and required parts. After testing, the team can explain whether repair can be completed within the visit or requires a separate approved scope.

How much does leak detection cost?

Cost depends on the suspected system, property size, access, testing methods, and time required to isolate the source. Call for an evaluation and a clear estimate for the applicable scope.

Slab Leak Found and Fixed

I recently had a leak in a pipe that was in the slab on the back wall of my garage . Luckily, I was recommended to Florida plumbing and leak detection. They did a great job. They were very clean and neat showed up on time maybe a little early. They worked very hard to get me back and running. Tony and his coworker Demi did an amazing job and they worked a lot of hard hours to get that job completed so I would recommend this company if you have any plumbing issues , Especially if you have a pipe leak great job guys!
